22 – 25 JULY, 2016

Once a year, Banyakigezi and friends travel from all over the world to converge at our International Community of Banyakigezi conventions. These annual gatherings have long been heralded as an exciting forum at which we promote our culture, network, meet old and new friends and celebrate our heritage, as we mobilize members and friends towards the socio-economic development of Kigezi.

Conference Address:

Kingston Business School, London

Kingston Business School

The Conference is part sponsored by Kingston Business School, London. Kingston is leading the way with its entrepreneurial expertise, producing the most graduate start-up companies than any higher education institution in the United Kingdom, for six years running. Kingston has also supported students and projects in Uganda such as the National Association of Student Enterprise (NASE) and the Global Entrepreneurship Development Center (GEDC) – a virtual global community on entrepreneurship research on which Makerere University Business School is a member. The venue therefore, couldn’t be more appropriate, given that the theme of the conference is “Harnessing self-employment / small business ownership to improve household incomes.”
